Our strategy relied on a simple but disruptive idea: rather than hide our Chinese origins as most brands do, we will showcase it as a strength, putting forward the Chinese edge in everything technological. We decided to pair this with another unique characteristic: all our cars are designed in the Changan Design Center in Turin, Italy. This combination became our positioning: unique and unassailable. We used it as a linchpin to launch our initial series, with the beautiful UNI-K as hero product. The results were excellent, with sales exceeding expectations and brand awareness on a strong upward trajectory.
